Included are materials concerning opposition to U.S. government policy in Nicaragua (Central America Support Group and Pledge of Resistance, Crawford County); opposition to the Genoa, Wis., nuclear power plant (Citizens for Safe Energy); and efforts to promote peace (Kickapoo Valley Peace Committee). There is also one file about the Macalester Committee for Peace in Vietnam concerning Brooks' anti-war activities, 1967-1968, at Macalester College (St. Paul, Minn.).
